He holds a Master’s degree in Interface Design from FH Potsdam and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design from HS Düsseldorf. During his studies, he focused on web design and typography. At UCLAB, he worked on ARETE, a research project about visualizing the history of typography and calligraphy. In addition to his work at UCLAB, he works as a freelance web designer and developer and runs a small type foundry as well as multiple side projects. His work and research often revolve around topics such as communication, literature, visual culture, the web, and typography.
