Networks seem to be everywhere: From social media, historical research, family trees to software engineering, transportation, biology, and infection chains. A common challenge in the visualization of networks is the tendency of larger networks to result in unreadable ‘hair balls’. The goal of the course was the development and design of experimental and aesthetic visualization prototypes with a focus on the data relations that are relevant for a self-chosen topic.
